Sub: Introduction of new features in the Bank Guarantee (BG) Repository Module on DGFT portal-regarding.
Dear member(s),
This is with regard to the Trade Notice No.23/2026-27 dated 28.08.2026 issued by DGFT on the above subject.
In this regard, it is informed that enhanced functionalities have been deployed in the Bank Guarantee(BG) Repository Module on the DGFT portal, covering the Customer Portal(CP) and bank Office(BO) interfaces, with a view to streamline processing and facilitate proactive monitoring of bank Guarantees, members are requested to kindly make a note on the following key points:
1. A “Purpose” field has been introduced for indicating whether the BG is a fresh submission or replacement of an existing BG.
2. Regional Authorities may generate and digitally sign communications through the portal for renewal/replacement of BG, renewal notice to Bank etc.,
3. A structured mechanism has been provided for tracking BG status including Pending acceptance, accepted, replaced, returned on EODC etc.,
4. BGs declared under the Bills Repository shall remain in “Pending Acceptance” until accepted by the concerned RA. Where such BG is linked to an invalidation file under AA/EPCG, its status automatically be updated to “Accepted” upon approval of the invalidation file.
Members are requested to take note on above new feature in Bank Guarantee and make use of this enhanced facility.

विषय: विदेश व्यापार महानिदेशालय पोर्टल पर बैंक गारंटी (बीजी) रिपॉज़िटरी मॉड्यूल में नई सुविधाओं की शुरुआत के संबंध में।
प्रिय सदस्यगण,
उपरोक्त विषय के संबंध में डीजीएफटी द्वारा दिनांक 28.08.2026 को जारी व्यापार सूचना संख्या 23/2026-27 के संदर्भ में यह सूचित किया जाता है कि उक्त विषय पर नई सुविधाओं की शुरुआत की गई है।
इस संबंध में सूचित किया जाता है कि विदेश व्यापार महानिदेशालय पोर्टल पर बैंक गारंटी (बीजी) रिपॉज़िटरी मॉड्यूल में उन्नत सुविधाएँ लागू की गई हैं। इनमें कस्टमर पोर्टल (सीपी) तथा बैंक ऑफिस (बीओ) इंटरफेस शामिल हैं। इन सुविधाओं का उद्देश्य बैंक गारंटी के प्रसंस्करण को सुव्यवस्थित करना तथा बैंक गारंटियों की सक्रिय निगरानी को सुगम बनाना है। अतः सदस्यों से अनुरोध है कि वे निम्नलिखित प्रमुख बिंदुओं का कृपया संज्ञान लें:
1. एक “पर्पस” फ़ील्ड शुरू किया गया है, जिसके माध्यम से यह दर्शाया जा सकेगा कि बीजी नई प्रस्तुत की जा रही है अथवा किसी मौजूदा बीजी के स्थान पर प्रतिस्थापन के रूप में प्रस्तुत की जा रही है।
2. क्षेत्रीय प्राधिकरण अब बीजी के नवीनीकरण/प्रतिस्थापन, बैंक को नवीनीकरण संबंधी सूचना आदि के लिए पोर्टल के माध्यम से पत्राचार तैयार कर उसे डिजिटल रूप से हस्ताक्षरित कर सकते हैं।
3. बीजी की स्थिति पर नज़र रखने के लिए एक सुव्यवस्थित व्यवस्था उपलब्ध कराई गई है, जिसमें स्वीकृति हेतु लंबित, स्वीकृत, प्रतिस्थापित, ईओडीसी पर वापस की गई आदि स्थितियाँ शामिल हैं।
4. बिल रिपॉज़िटरी के अंतर्गत घोषित बीजी, संबंधित क्षेत्रीय प्राधिकरण (आरए) द्वारा स्वीकार किए जाने तक “स्वीकृति की प्रतीक्षा” स्थिति में रहेंगी। जहाँ ऐसी बीजी, एए/ईपीसीजी के अंतर्गत किसी अमान्यकरण फ़ाइल से लिंक की गई हो, वहाँ अमान्यकरण फ़ाइल के अनुमोदन के पश्चात बीजी की स्थिति स्वतः “स्वीकृत” में अपडेट हो जाएगी।
सदस्यों से अनुरोध है कि वे बैंक गारंटी से संबंधित उपर्युक्त नई सुविधाओं का संज्ञान लें तथा इस उन्नत सुविधा का उपयोग करें।
