Sub : Export Data Processing and Monitoring System (EDPMS)
Dear Member
As you are kindly aware, the Export Data Processing and Monitoring System (EDPMS) is an online platform for monitoring export returns.
Kindly refer to our earlier circulars regarding EDPMS wherein it was stated that exporters would be caution listed if any shipping bill against them remains open (i.e. export realisation details not updated by banks) for more than two years in EDPMS provided no extension is granted by AD Category – I bank / RBI. Date of shipment will be considered for reckoning the realization period. We have now received a communication from FIEO informing the following.
· RBI vide its circular No.74. Dated May 26, 2016 has given instruction to AD Banks on Caution/ De-caution Listing of Exporters. The RBI has since then extended the time frame to AD Banks and exporters get all the Shipping Bill pendency cleared in the EDPMC till 30th September 2018. A further extension on the Caution Listing Process has been given by RBI till December 31, 2018.
· In the view of the above, we urge all the affected members to kindly pursue their AD Banks to update all the old entries in the EDPMS before 31st December 2018 to avoid getting Caution Listed.
· As FIEO has the access of the EDPMS portal to “only view” the SB pendency, members may also approach us and get the list of all their pending Shipping Bills by approaching FIEO through the following link and filling up the necessary details.
