Dear members,

Sub:- Footwear and Leather Sector Virtual BSM with Nigerian buyers (5^th or 6^th August, 2021)

We are glad to inform that Council for Leather Exports, in close coordination with High Commission of India, Nigeria is organizing a Footwear and Leather Sector Virtual BSM with Nigerian buyers either on 5^th or 6^th August, 2021. Exact date and timings of the Virtual BSM will be notified soon.

The details of this Virtual BSM are given below:-

• The BSM will be organized via Zoom or Google Meet platform
  We are expecting participation of 25-30 Nigerian buyers of footwear, leather and leather products.
  ·         From Indian side, we will be enlisting a maximum of 15 companies of the above said products. Each Indian company will get an opportunity to present a short video of 4 minutes duration, before the Nigerian buyers. In this video, the company representative/CEO can talk about their company/product profile, their latest collections, current markets, in addition to showing snapshots of their factory and products. At the end of the video, the participants should show their contact details (steps/guidelines to be followed for making of video is given below).  There will not be any product display virtually.
  ·         As per trade data, there exists enormous opportunities for Indian companies for promoting their export of footwear and leather products to Nigeria, specially Non-Leather Footwear Products.

Keeping in view the above, you may consider participating in the Virtual BSM with buyers from Nigeria and send us the following details:-

(i)     The attached format, duly completed (please send this information latest by 12^th July, 2021)

(ii)     Four-minute duration video about your company/product, as specified above. (This may be sent to CLE, immediately after the event dates are notified)

(iii)    An One page information/write up about your company, along with complete contact details and 4-5 good product photos. All details, including photos, should be arranged on  the same page. (please send this latest by 12^th July, 2021), for circulating to the Nigerian buyers.

CLE will be charging a nominal Registration fee @ Rs. 3,000/- + 18% GST (Rs. 3,540/- inclusive of GST) per company, for participation in this Virtual BSM. Please remit this payment to CLE’s below given bank account latest by 12th July, 2021. However, members may please note that, we are enlisting a maximum of 15 Indian companies/suppliers only hence participation will be confirmed on the basis of receipt of Registration fee along with the duly filled in application form (attached), on first come first served basis.
