About the US Market:
The USA is the world’s largest market for Footwear, Leather Garments and Leather Goods & Accessories / Gloves. USA’s import of leather and leather products has increased from US $ 30.65 billion in the year 2012 to US $ 32.89 billion in the year 2016, growing at a CAGR of 1.78%. India’s export of leather and leather products has increased from US $ 526.13 million in the year 2012-13 to US $ 870.39 million in the year 2016-17, growing at a CAGR of 13.41%.
Over the years, India’s leather products & footwear exports to USA have been steadily increasing and latest reports show that India’s export of leather & leather products to USA during April-March 2016-17 has reached US $ 870.39 million as against US $ 834.10 million recorded during the corresponding period of the previous year.
USA ranks Number one among the top importing countries of leather & leather products from India with a share of 15.26%.
MAGIC is the world’s largest Apparel & Accessories Trade Show in North Americal, MAGIC consist of 70% buying and selling communicity in Uited States. 40 + Countries, 1600 + Factories, 3500 + Exhibitors & More than 35,000+ Attendees.
Sourcing at MAGIC- is the Show dedicated to the Contract Manufacturing and private label business. Sourcing at MAGIC aims to provide a convenient space for retail buyers, global importers, licensees & brands to meet and conduct business with offshore manufacturers and suppliers from the international manufacturing countries.
Total no of Exhibitors at Sourcing at MAGIC in the previous edition were 1600+ (Indian Exhibitors 150 + China 700 + Pakistan 25 + Bangladesh 25 + and rest of the world including Mexico, Morocco, Egypt, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan etc)
Timed to coincide with MAGIC, manufacturers and component suppliers have are presented with the opportunity to connect with sourcing executives, designers, wholesalers, private label buyers and U.S. Multi – Unit retailers who visit MAGIC Show.

Council’s participation in the SOURCING at MAGIC / Footwear Sourcing at MAGIC, Aug 12-15, 2018 The Council has organized the ‘India Pavilion’ in the last edition of the MAGIC Show held during February 2017, in which 25 member-companies participated and positive feedback has been received. The Council’s Participation in the MAGIC Show, February 2018 is on Self-Financing basis and there is no Funding support from the MAI Scheme as in recent previous editions.
Considering the size & potential of the US market and the opportunities for India in the same, the Council proposes to organize “India Pavilion” in MAGIC for Footwear and in SOURCING @ MAGIC for Leather Products & Accessories. Participation Fee for member-companies who wish to display Footwear (in the Footwear Sourcing Show) and for members who wish to display Leather Garments & Goods Booths (in the Sourcing at MAGIC Show) are given below for a Built Up Booth of 100 sq ft

Members interested to participate in the Sourcing at MAGIC / Footwear Sourcing at MAGIC, August 2018 may please send the attached duly filled-in Application Form along with the participation charges of Rs. 3,78,000 /- for footwear and Rs. 4,27,000/- for Leather Goods / Garments for a minimum-sized booth of 100 sq ft; by Cheque /DD drawn in favour of Council for Leather Exports. This may be sent either to the Council’s Head Office in Chennai or Regional Offices at Delhi, Kanpur, Mumbai, Kolkata and two extension offices at Agra & Jalandhar on or before May 25, 2018.
Important Note: Members may please note that the Council’s participation in this fair will be with minimum 15 CLE members companies Space will be allotted on First Come First Served basis as per receipt of full participation Fee by the Council from the interested member.
VISA Support:
Members may also note that participants will have to arrange the Visa to USA on their own. MAGIC will provide only 4 Visa Invitation Letters for each exhibiting company. The letters will be provided to paid exhibitors only. CLE/MAGIC claims no responsibility for any Visa rejection, what so ever. Kindly note that non-issuance of Visa will not be considered a valid ground for withdrawal subsequent to confirmation of participation. Hence, withdrawal from participation after confirmation will not be allowed.
