To: Members of the Council

Dear Sirs,

Sub: IFLADP sub-scheme IDLS- CLE Guidance via Virtual Meetings – reg.

As members are aware that Indian Footwear, Leather & Accessories Development Programme (IFLADP) is under implementation by Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India, under which one of the sub-schemes is Integrated Development of Leather Sector (IDLS) Scheme. As intimated to members via CLE circular dated 21.02.2020, the approved implementation period of IFLADP 2017-2020 has come to an end on 31st March 2020, but however, Government of India has extended all the Central Sector Schemes for one more year till 31st March 2021 or till the date the recommendations of the 15th Finance Commission come into effect whichever is earlier, and this extension applies to IFLADP as well.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown measures implemented leading to restricted movements and social distancing, it is proposed that CLE will be available for interactions with the industry via online/virtual meetings on need & request basis. The members interested to have discussions with CLE regarding IDLS Scheme, may send their request to CLE for virtual meeting along with meeting link in Zoom App or Google Meet or such other portal, and send the link via Email to the CLE @ Email: dd-ifladp@cleindia.com, to the attention of Shri A. Fayaz Ahmad, Deputy Director, Projects & Technology Department, CLE. The e-mail request should typically have details – name of the person, company name, mobile number and brief agenda point. The virtual meeting can be scheduled from Monday to Friday by giving one-day prior notice, and preferred time may be between 11.00am to 12.30pm in the forenoon session or between 2.30pm to 4.00pm in the afternoon session.

Members may kindly take note of the above outreach initiative and avail guidance of CLE via virtual meetings also.

With warm regards,

R. SELVAM, IAS
