National Entrepreneurship Awards – 2018 – Request for Pre Nomination

Sub: National Entrepreneurship Awards 2018
We have received a communication dated 16th October, 2018 from EP(LSG) Section, Dept of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt of India on the above subject.With regard to submitting Application for National Entrepreneurship Awards 2018, we wish to state the following:
1. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has been organising the National Enterpreneurship Awards since 2016 to recognise and honour Young Entrepreneurs and Ecosystem Builders for their outstanding contribution in the field of Entrepreneurship development. (Details given in attachment)
2. A total of 43 Awards are given through the process of nomination.
3. This year, the process for selection of Awardees will begin from second week of October 2018 and the Winners will be awarded in a high profile Award Ceremony in 3rd week of December, 2018.
4. Awardees will be presented a Trophy, Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs.10.00 lakhs (organisations / institutions) and Rs.5.00 lakhs (individuals/ enterprises)
– Initial investment upto Rs.1 Lakh
– Initial investment above Rs.1.00 lakh to Rs.10.00 lakhs
– Initial Investment above Rs.10.00 lakhs to Rs.1.00 Cr
6. Awardees will be mobilised through online nomination and undergo a three-level rigorous evaluation process, wherein, the National Jury selects the winners.
7. The call for online nominations will open from second week of October 2018 at the website www.neas.gov.in to facilitate nomination of deserving candidates.
