Sub: ADEETIE Scheme of Govt of India for MSMEs to implement energy efficiency measures
This is in continuation to CLE circular dated June 19, 2025 intimating about the new scheme: “Assistance in Deploying Energy Efficient Technologies in Industries & Establishments (ADEETIE)”, which is a flagship initiative of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Government of India. The scheme guidelines and support measure envisaged under this scheme have been briefed in the said circular.
We now wish to provide further briefings to members as under:
· BEE is inviting the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) as per Format enclosed, and send the scan copy by Email to BEE facilitation-centre@beeindia.gov.in under CC to pshyam.sunder@beeindia.gov.in, cle@cleindia.com, dd-p.t@cleindia.com
· In respect of Leather & Footwear sector, eligible clusters for the ADEETIE scheme is mentioned as: Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh), Kolkata (West Bengal), Pallavaram (Tamil Nadu) & Jalandhar (Punjab). It has now been clarified by the BEE that as per BEE cluster boundary, applicant units located within the radius of 200 km from the notified cluster peripheral boundary would be covered.
· BEE has empaneled Certified Energy Auditors (CEAs) and Accredited Energy Auditor (AEA) firms under the ADEETIE scheme, as per List attached herewith. This initiative aims to conduct Investment Grade Energy Audits (IGEA) for MSMEs and support the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs). Their technical expertise and experience will play a pivotal role in identifying energy-saving opportunities and facilitating financial assistance to MSMEs for adopting energy-efficient technologies.
Units interested to avail the benefit under ADEETIE Scheme, are required to contact location-wise Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) and Accredited Energy Auditor (AEA) firm and seek their support and proceed ahead in preparation and submission of DPR to the BEE as per scheme guidelines.
The CLE would call upon the MSME units in leather & footwear industry to submit their DPR to the BEE, and avail the benefit under the ADEETIE Scheme.
