Sub: Primary Skill Development training for new manpower under HRD sub-scheme of IFLADP 2017-2020 – Implementation Agencies approved by Government of India
As you are aware, one of the sub-schemes of the Indian Footwear, Leather & Accessories Development programme (IFLADP) is Human Resource Development (HRD) Scheme. Under the HRD scheme, it is proposed to undertake primary skill development training of the persons not already employed in the sector at the entry level in shop floor operations and their placement into gainful employment in the sector. Placement of 75% of the trained persons would have to be carried out by the Implementation Agency conducting the training programme. GOI assistance would be @ maximum of Rs.15000/- per trainee (all inclusive).
In this context, Department of Industrial Policy &Promotion, Government of India has approved the allotment of Primary Skill Development training to the following 4 agencies and assigned targets to them for conducting the training courses for new manpower. The details are as under:

Interested units which are in need of new manpower at the entry level, may approach anyone of the above approved agencies and intimate their requirements in terms of number of manpower required with different job-roles. A typical format is attached herewith for your guidance. The requirement may be prepared in the letter head of the company, which may be scanned and send as an email attachment to anyone of the above agencies under copy to CLE.
The CLE would request you to do the needful in the matter and make use of the funding support provided by the Government of India for Human Resources Development (HRD) in the Footwear, Leather & Accessories sectors.
