Dear Members,
Sub: Indian Footwear & Leather Development Programme (IFLDP) 2021-26 – Public Notice Issued by DPIIT, Government of India calling for Applications / Project Proposals in the online portal NSWS on or before 31st August 2022 – reg.
We wish to invite your kind reference to the CLE’s circular dated 07.03.2022 regarding the Indian Footwear & Leather Development Programme (IFLDP) 2021-26 notified by the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India. The sub-schemes of the IFLDP are (1) Sustainable Technology and Environmental Promotion (STEP) (2) Integrated Development of Leather Sector (IDLS) (3) Mega Leather, Footwear and Accessories Cluster Development (MLFACD) (4) Brand Promotion of Indian Brands in Leather & Footwear Sector (5) Development of Design Studios (6) Establishment of Institutional Facilities. The guidelines of these sub-schemes and Notification dated 03.03.2022 were disseminated to members via the above-mentioned CLE Circular dated 07.03.2022.
The above details have been hosted in the DPIIT website www.dpiit.gov.in, National Single Window System (NSWS) portal: www.nsws.gov.in and also hosted in the CLE website www.leatherindia.org. Applications / Proposals under the relevant sub-schemes have to be filed in the NSWS portal: www.nsws.gov.in.
In this background, the DPIIT, Government of India has issued a Public Notice calling for applications / project proposals for financial assistance under IFLDP 2021-26. The Public Notice is enclosed herewith for your perusal. The last date for submission of proposals through online portal is 31st August 2022. The proposals received within this deadline in the online portal would be considered by the DPIIT on first-cum-first-serve basis and on the basis of competitiveness.
Eligible and interested Members may do the needful and submit their applications / project proposals in the online portal www.nsws.gov.in, on or before the deadline of 31st August 2022 fixed by the DPIIT, Govt of India.
For any guidance and clarifications on the sub-schemes of IFLDP, members are welcome to attend the Open House Meeting / Webinar conducted by CLE every Wednesday at 11.30am via Zoom App, and get your queries clarified by CLE, PIU-FDDI and PIU-CLRI.
