Sub: APLF Virtual Expo 2021 – Focusing India !

We would like to inform that APLF is partnering with Council for Leather Exports (CLE), for organizing a Virtual Expo, focusing Indian Leather Industry during January 28 – 29, 2021.  The event highlights are given below:-

Exhibitors’ Profile:

Raw Hides | Semi-finished and Finished Leather | Chemicals | Machineries | Footwear and Leather goods components

Visitors’ Profile: 

Indian buyers from the major Indian tanning and manufacturing sectors | Footwear | bags and leather garments manufacturers.

• Live Chat with Staff (Attendees)

As per feedback received from APLF, more than 1,000 attendees/trade visitors from India as well as abroad are likely to visit the virtual event.  As on date, more than 200 visitors have registered their participation.   On the other side, APLF is anticipating participation of 50-60 exhibitors in this virtual show (both from India and overseas).  As on date, more than 12 companies from Italy, Germany and Taiwan have confirmed their participation, as informed by APLF.

Participation Cost

APLF is charging participation fee @ USD 1000 per company, however, CLE members are eligible for 10% discount hence have to pay @ USD 900 per exhibiting company.

Furthermore, we would like to inform that CLE has submitted our application to the Department of Commerce, seeking funding support under MAI Scheme for organizing participation of members in the APLF Virtual Expo 2021 and in case if we receive funding support from the Ministry at a later stage, sanctioned grant in aid will be reimbursed proportionately to the participants.  The grant amount may be ranging between Rs. 30,000/- to 40,000/- per company.  The subsidy (if approved by the Department of Commerce) will be available for 25 companies, those who are paying first and other members have to pay the un-subsidized participation fee, as written above.

Keeping in view the above, interested members are requested to please remit full participation fee (un subsidized) of Rs. 67,500/- + 18% GST (Rs. 79,650/- inclusive of GST), to CLE’s below given bank account latest by 31^st December, 2020.  The attached application format, duly filled in, may be sent to CLE by return mail for registering your participation.
