Sub: ADEETIE Scheme, Ministry of Power – Seeking expression of interest from members
Dear Members,
We have received a communication from Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India informing about the proposed launch of a new scheme called “Assistance in Deploying Energy Efficient Technologies in Industries & Establishments (ADEETIE)”, which is a flagship initiative of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power.
The Objective of the scheme is to facilitate MSME’s to upgrade with energy efficient technologies / measures through financial instruments and handholding them in carrying out investment grade energy audit, detail project report, monitoring and verification of the implementation. The Implementation Period is 3 Years (FY 2025-26 to FY 2027-28).
The Scheme aims to provide following support measures.
– Interest subvention (5% for Micro and Small, 3% for Medium Enterprises) for implementing energy efficiency measures. Targeted at MSMEs registered on the Udyam portal and operating in one of 60 identified clusters will be eligible for interest subvention for the project’s loans between Rs.10 Lakh to Rs.15 Crore for eligible projects.

– Reimbursement upto Rs.1 lakh towards preparation of Detailed Project Reports through Certified Energy Auditors (CEA), Certified Energy Managers (CEM) and energy auditing firms, if the project is approved by any lending institution.
– Energy auditors will undertake Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) of the projects. The expenditure on MRV will be borne by Bureau of Energy Efficiency.
The tentative scheme guidelines are enclosed herewith.
As mentioned above, the scheme will be initially implemented in 60 identified clusters. The following are the List of Clusters Identified by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency for ADEETIE Scheme for Leather & Footwear Sector.
