Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you in the context of the ongoing Special GST refund Fortnight from 31-5-2018 to 14-6-2018 being organised by the Central and State GST Authorities for the benefit of the exporters whose GST refund applications that are pending with them.

A lot of exporters have been reporting to us about their long pending refund claims with the Customs, State and Central GST authorities. This is a golden opportunity for the exporting community to fast track their applications and claim the refunds. However, it is not clear whether the exporters are aware of the special refund fortnight and are availing the opportunity.

I request all the EPCs and the Chambers of Commerce to get involved in promoting this special drive in a full-fledged manner. You are requested to give wide publicity for the special drive among your members and personally encourage the exporters to avail their refunds through this drive. You may also visit the refund centres and liason with the customs, GST & State Govt., authorities on a daily basis to make this drive a useful exercise for the exporting community.

You may also let us know if the exporters face any challenges and bottle necks while attending the refund drive, so that we can take up this with the concerned authorities.
