Sub : IGST on export goods – Issue of Customs Circulars
Dear Sir,
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs has issued the following customs circular regarding refund of IGST on export of goods on payment of duty-setting up of Help Desk.
· Customs Circular No.21/2018-Customs dated 18th July 2018 – This circular informs about formation of Help Desks on FIEO offices located at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Mumbai & also at AEPC Office, Tirupur. FIEO has informed that the Customs officers will be available in these locations from 10.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m. till August 1, 2018 . Members who have pending IGST refund on the exports may approach this Help Desk for redressal
· Customs Circular No.22/2018-Customs dated 18th July 2018 – This circular states that alternative mechanism to resolve errors committed by exporters i.e SB003 (mismatch between GSTIN entity mentioned in shipping bill and one filed in GSTR 1/GSTR 3B) & SB005 (mismatch of invoice details mentioned in shipping bill and one filed in GSTR 1/GSTR 3B) has been extended for shipping bill filled up to 30.06.2018.
