Sub:  IIFT Study on assessment of Logistics Performance of Leather Sector – Questionnaire for exporters – reg

This is to inform that Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is undertaking a study on assessment of logistics performance of various sectors including the Leather Sector to know the export/import logistics performance against generally accepted industry standards or practices, and to compute the sector specific logistics performance index. For this purpose, IIFT has devised a Questionnaire for eliciting the feedback from the industry. The survey comprises of three parts viz.

Part A: Detailed Assessment for computation of logistics performance of the sector
Part B: Overall Assessment of sector’s logistics performance across the States
Part C: Quantitative Assessment related to time and cost incurred in a value chain.

The IIFT Questionnaire is attached herewith, alongwith one page Note on Survey Guidance/ Instructions. It is requested that members may kindly go through the same and fill their inputs/feedbacks and submit their filled-up Questionnaire to the IIFT, addressed to Dr. Nitin Seth, Professor, IIFT by E-mail ID: nitinseth@iift.edu under copy to CLE email ID: cle@cleindia.com. The last date for receipt of filled up questionnaire from the industry, set by IIFT is 20.09.2019. A hard copy of the filled up questionnaire may be sent to IIFT, New Delhi as per below postal address:
