You are kindly aware that the Government had notified the duty – free exemption for notified inputs for leather garments, footwear and other leather products in the Union Budget 2022-23. This duty exemption scheme is under Import of Goods at Concessional rate of Duty (IGCR)
The Government has now notified new IGCR Scheme vide Customs notification (non – tariff) No. 74/2022 dated 9.9.2022 (copy enclosed). A statement showing old and new IGCR rules is enclosed herewith for your ready reference.
