About the Fair
Poznan Fashion Fair is one of the most important fashion events in Poland, which allows entrepreneurs to establish new business contacts and provides opportunities to purchase fashionable collections. Compared to other events related to the fashion industry in the Country, the Fair is a perfect place for business contracts with exhibitors participating in the event. The show is organized by MTP Grupa, Poland and is being promoted by Comnet Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. in India.
Poznan Fashion Fair means a wide range of interesting stylish proposals and new trends for the coming season. The variety of brands presented at the Fair offers the possibility of finding interesting products for large retail chains, as well as small boutiques and multi brand stores. The event will surely be attended by online shop owners, looking for interesting styling solutions for their companies. The international nature of the event is confirmed by foreign exhibitors coming from such countries as Bangladesh, the Czech Republic, France, India, Sweden, Ukraine and Italy. The most numerous group of exhibitors will be, however, the group from Poland, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Iran, Greece, Russia and the UK.
Trade Scenario in the Footwear & Leather Sector
Poland imported Footwear, leather and leather products worth USD 3604.53 million during 2018-19. Major item of their import was Footwear (USD 2748.86 million), followed by finished leather, leather goods and leather garments. Whereas, India has exported footwear, leather and leather products worth USD 115.02 million during 2018-19, holding a share of 3.19% in the overall import by Poland. It is pertinent mention that India holds a share of 7.33% in the import of leather footwear by Poland and approx 6% in the import of leather goods and accessories. Hence there exist enormous opportunities for the Indian exporters to enhance their share of export to Poland.
CLE Participation in the Fair
Keeping in view the opportunities existing in the Polish market, CLE is planning to organize group participation of members in the forthcoming edition of the Poznan Fashion Fair 2020 to be held from 19 – 20 February 2020 at MTP Poznan Expo Fairgrounds, Poznan, Poland. Since there is no Government of India funding support available, the event will be organized on ‘Self Financing’ basis.
Participation Fee
Considering the overall expenses, participation fee has been fixed as under:-
– @ Rs. 69,860/- for 6 sqm shell (furnished) booth
– @ Rs. 81,260/- for 9 sqm shell (furnished) booth
The above given rates are inclusive of space rental, shell scheme (furnished) booths, with the following display accessories, marketing & publicity etc:-

All other items will be extra and participants have to settle the payment directly to the fair organizers for such extra items.

Members may also note that participants will have to arrange the air ticket/ Visa to Poland on their own (we will issue visa facilitation letters). Please note that non-issuance of Visa will not be considered as a valid ground for withdrawal subsequent to confirmation of participation. Hence, withdrawal from participation after confirmation will not be allowed, for whatever reasons, and participation fee deposited is not refundable.
Member-exporters who are interested to participate in the Poznan Fashion Fair 2020 are requested to send the duly filled-in Application Form along with the full Participation Charges by Cheque/DD drawn in favor of Council for Leather Exports, latest by 9th December, 2019. Participation fee can be remitted directly to CLE’s bank account also.
