Dear Sir,
Please find enclosed the following Public Notice/Policy Circulars for your ready reference.
1. Public Notice No.30/2015-20 dated 14th Aug. 2018 regarding acceptance of installation certificate under Export Promotion Capital Goods Scheme (EPCG) by the Regional Authorities of DGFT, wherein installation certificate is submitted beyond 18 months, without penalty.
2. Customs Notification No.58/2018-Customs dated 7th Aug. 2018 regarding increase in Basic Custom Duty for lining material/inter lining material, non- woven etc. This Notification is a amendment to Custom Notification No.53/2018 dated July 16, 2018 and No.82/2017 dated 27.10.17 (copies enclosed)
3. Customs Circular No.27/2018 dated 14th Aug. 2018 regarding bank guarantee requirement for bond executed by EOUs.
4. Customs Circular No.24/2018 dated 31st July 2018 informing that requirement of mandatory RFID sealing in case of movement of goods under warehousing bond (under electronic sealing – deposit in and removal of goods from customs bonded warehouses) has been extended to Oct.1, 2018.
5. Customs Circular No.73/2018-Customs(N.T) dated 14th Aug. 2018 regarding Customs (Finalization of Provisional Assessment) Regulations, 2018.
