Sub : Quality Control Orders for footwear and certain components
Dear Member
As members are aware, the Dept. for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) had notified Quality Control order for 27 categories of footwear and components vide the following Gazette Notifications
QCOs earlier notified by DPIIT

| 3858-E | The Footwear made from All- Rubber & All Polymeric material and its components (Quality Control) Order, 2020 – date of implementation 1.7.22 |
| 3860-E | The Footwear made from Leather and other materials (Quality Control) Order, 2020date of implementation 1.7.22 |
DPIIT has now issued the Gazette notifications No. 2957 E dated and No. 2958 E dated 3.6.22 (copies enclosed) rescinding the following Quality Control orders
· The Footwear made from Leather and other materials (Quality Control) Order, 2020
· The Footwear made from All- Rubber & All Polymeric material and its components (Quality Control) Order, 2020
The DPIIT has also issued the following Quality Control Orders, 2022 dated 03.06.2022 (COPIES ENCLOSED) and the same are also attached for your reference: –
i. The Footwear made from Leather and other materials (Quality Control) Order, 2022, to be enforced w.e.f. 1st July, 2023.
ii. The Footwear made from all-Rubber and all Polymeric material and its components (Quality Control) Order, 2022, to be enforced w.e.f. 1st July, 2023.
