Renewal of CLE Membership for the year 2022-23
Dear Sir
Thank you for being a member of Council for Leather Exports !
You are kindly aware that your current CLE membership is valid till 31.03.2022 Accordingly renewal of membership for the financial year 2022-23 falls due on 1st April 2022 as per Article 6(b) (i) of the Articles of Association of the Council.
We would like to inform you that as per Trade Notice No. 35/2021-22 dated 24.2.2022 (copy enclosed) issued by Directorate General of Foreign Trade (copy enclosed), the application for issuance of Registration Cum Membership Certificate (RCMC) of CLE has to be submitted only through DGFT portal URL:https://dgft.gov.in with effect from 01.04.2022.
With regard to the above, members may please note the following.
· Please visit the DGFT website https://www.dgft.gov.in (by using your log-in and password) for submission of the CLE RCMC renewal and for new RCMC. Please refer SERVICES : E – RCMC Menu in the website.
· The Membership renewal Fee also has to be paid through the above DGFT website only. The fee details are enclosed herewith.
- CLE will verify the application and issue RCMC online through the DGFT website. In case of any discrepancy in the application, the same will be returned to you, requesting to re-submit correct application .
· With regard to the submission of RCMC application through DGFT website, you may also note the following instructions notified vide DGFT Trade Notice No. 27/2021-22 dated 30.11.21.
a. Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)/Aadhar would be required for the purpose of electronic submission of applications. The digital signature would be the same as used in other DGFT applications;
b. No separate registration is required for availing the RCMC/RC service from the DGFT Portal. Already registered exporters/importers can avail the service using the same login credentials.
The e- RCMC user Guide issued by DGFT is enclosed herewith.
As mentioned above, in respect of members already registered in DGFT website, they can apply for RCMC using their log in and password. Un-registered members have to register in the DGFT website.
· In addition to the details provided in the DGFT website, members also have to provide the data through the following link in CLE website, as the export data is essential for compiling the export data and for selection of export awards of CLE.
ü Log on to CLE website www.leatherindia.org . Click the “ MEMBERSHIP ” heading and choose “RENEWAL APPLICATION FORM 2022-23” menu.
ü Fill up the Renewal Application Form provided therein
ü Upload the Bank Certificate (Format provided enclosed) duly certified by your Banker for the export value during 2021-22. In case of no export during 2021-22, please mention as “NIL” export for which No Bank Certificate is required
We would request you to please renew your membership at the earliest so that you may continue availing the benefits / concessions/ schemes of Govt. of India, as applicable from time to time.
Please note that the above procedure will also apply for submission of application for new membership of CLE. The fee for new membership of CLE is also enclosed.
