Sub : Status Holders under Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20

As members are aware the nomenclature of Status Holders has been changed in the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 as detailed below.

Status Category:-

Two Star Export House	25

Four Star Export House	500
Five Star Export House	2000

(Earlier nomenclature of Export House, Star Export House, Trading House, Star Trading House, Premier Trading House has been changed to one, two, three, four and five star export house as mentioned above)

According to Para 3.19(a) of Hand Book of Procedures 2015-2020 Status Certificate issued under the previous Policy i.e FTP 2009-14 to an IEC holder shall remain valid till 30th June, 2015 or till the issuance of Status Certificate to such IEC holder under the new Policy 2015-2020, whichever is earlier.

Members are advised to apply for status recognition accordingly. Application is required to be filed online in ANF 3C and scanned copy of relevant prescribed documents may be uploaded.

The policy and procedures governing Status Holders is enclosed herewith for ready reference of members.
