Sub:   Awareness Programme on IDLS sub-scheme under Indian Footwear & Leather Development Programme (IFLDP) – Webinar on 12.06.2024 – reg.

As members are aware, the Integrated Development of Leather Sector (IDLS) scheme is one of the sub-schemes of Indian Footwear & Leather Development Programme (IFLDP) 2021-26 which is currently under implementation by Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India. The scheme provides financial assistance @ 30% of cost of plant and machinery to MSME units and 20% to other units, subject to a ceiling of Rs.15 crores (overall). CSIR-CLRI is the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) for Tannery Sector, and Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) is the PIU for Leather Products and Footwear Sectors.

With a view to encourage the large number of tannery units in the country to come forward to avail the funding assistance under the IDLS sub-scheme, Council for Leather Exports (CLE) in coordination with CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI) is organizing an Industry Outreach Event on the IDLS Sub-Scheme, exclusively for the tannery sector in the country.  The Webinar would be held on 12^th June 2024 (Wednesday) at 11.30am, and the meeting link is given below:
