Sub : Buyer Seller Meet in Dubai, Monday & Tuesday 11-12, Dec 2017.
UAE is the 8th largest market importing leather and leather products from India and is also the Number one market importing Non-Leather Footwear from India. India’s share in the UAE has increased from 6.08% in 2012 to 10.50% in 2016, thereby providing ample opportunity to enhance our exports.
In order to sustain and consolidate India’s exports of leather and leather products to UAE, the Council is organising the Buyer Seller Meet in Dubai, during 11-12, Dec 2017. Dubai being the trading hub, participating in the BSM in Dubai will enhance India’s export of leather and leather products to Middle East Countries and also to CIS & African countries
Past BSMs
The Council organised the BSM in Dubai during Dec 2013 and Dec 2015, which attracted more than 180-200 buyers for each event.
Publicity Activities
In order to ensure maximum buyers turnout, the following marketing activities are proposed to be undertaken :
- Print advertisements
- Facebook Campaign in each country for 1 month before the event
- Flyer Distribution in UAE market
- Exclusive Website creation and maintanence
- SMS Shoots
The Council is also proposing to invite buyers from other Gulf countries to attend the BSM in Dubai.
Fee Details
The fee for participation in the Buyer Seller Meet, Dubai 11-12, 2017 is Rs.75,000/- per company. However, as per revised MAIS guidelines, members can participate only in two MAIS events per year under MAIS grant and for such participants who have completed 2 participations in any of the events under MAIS during 2017-18, the enhanced fee applicable will be Rs.1,00,000/-.
Members interested to participate in the event are requested to send the duly filled application form (copy enclosed) along with the full participation fee as mentioned above through a Cheque/DD drawn in favour of COUNCIL FOR LEATHER EXPORTS on or before August 30, 2017.
Members may also note that Stands will be allotted only on first come first serve basis i.e. on the basis of payment received in CLE.
