Sub:   Primary Skill Development training for new manpower under HRD sub-scheme of IFLADP 2017-2020 – FDDI conducts training courses for new manpower

As you are aware, one of the sub-schemes of the Indian Footwear, Leather & Accessories Development programme (IFLADP) is Human Resource Development (HRD) Scheme. Under the HRD scheme, it is proposed to undertake primary skill development training of the persons not already employed in the sector at the entry level in shop floor operations and their placement into gainful employment in the sector. Placement of 75% of the trained persons would have to be carried out by the Implementation Agency conducting the training programme. GOI assistance would be @ maximum of Rs.15000/- per trainee (all inclusive).

In this context, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Government of India has approved the allotment of Primary Skill Development training to FDDI Noida and assigned targets of 115000 people for 2018-2019 and 115000 people for 2019-2020. FDDI, Noida has intimated the Council that they are conducting the following NSQF compliant courses:

Interested units which are in need of new manpower at the entry level, may approach FDDI Noida, and intimate their requirements in terms of number of manpower required along with the courses to be conducted to them. In case you know the names of persons to be trained, List of the trainees may also be sent to the FDDI, Noida. The requirement may be prepared in the letter head of the company, which may be scanned and send as an email attachment to FDDI Noida under copy to CLE.

The CLE would request you to do the needful in the matter and make use of the funding support provided by the Government of India for Human Resources Development (HRD) in the Footwear, Leather & Accessories sectors.
