Dear Members,

Sub:    Mega Leather Cluster proposed in Haryana – Industrial Plot Allotment by HSIIDC: Deadline for online application 18.12.2017

We invite you kind attention to the CLE circulars of even number dated 25.09.2017 & 09.10.2017 intimating about the issuance of advertisement by Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (HSIIDC), offering industrial plots for setting up of production units in the Mega Leather Cluster, IMT Sohna, Haryana. As per the advertisement, the last date for online submission of application seeking plot allotment was originally kept at 16.10.2017 which was further extended till 30.10.2017.

HSIIDC, a Government of Haryana undertaking, proposes to develop a “Mega Leather Cluster” in Sohna (formerly – IMT Rojka meo), Haryana. The land area allotted for the project is 105 acres at Industrial Model Township (IMT), Sohna and proposed MLC would be a non-tannery cluster. The proposed Mega Leather Cluster shall have units dedicated to manufacturing of footwear, footwear components, leather goods (including gloves), leather garments and Saddlery & Harness items etc.  The CLE had a series of progressive discussions with State Government/HSIIDC and requested for lowering the land cost as leather sector is predominantly comprise of MSME sector. As CLE’s continuous endeavor to coordinate the setting up of a Greenfield Mega Leather Cluster at Haryana and to eliminate the bottlenecks, a delegation under the leadership of Shri P.R Aqeel Ahmed, Vice-Chairman, and Shri Puran Dawar, Regional Chairman (North) and Mr. Manoj Tuli, Convener–Leather Garments, visited Chandigarh on 20th April 2017 along with industry representatives and had a meeting with Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana and senior government officials.  In the said meeting, it was decided to allot land @ Rs.7500/- per square meter as against the prescribed / base / reserve allotment rate of Rs.10000/- per square meter.

The Council had requested HSIIDC to extend the deadline for filing online applications for industrial plots for a longer period, so that the industry has enough time to plan and make their investment decisions and it is expected that more applications for plot allotment may come if further extension of time is given to the industry. Accepting the request of the CLE, HSIIDC has now issued Advertisement extending the last date for receipt of ONLINE applications to 18.12.2017. The said Advertisement is scanned and attached herewith for your perusal, which is self-explanatory.

Needless to mention, this is an ideal opportunity for the Footwear, Leather Products & Accessories industries to set up their production units in the Mega Leather Cluster proposed to be established in IMT Sohna, Haryana which will have infrastructure facilities developed by HSIIDC. As mentioned in the Advertisement, the plot allotment would be governed by relevant clauses of Estate Management Procedures (EMP) as amended from time to time, which may be referred in e-governance portal of HSIIDC www.hsiidcesewa.org.in.

Interested units may like to submit the ONLINE applications in the website of HSIIDC www.hsiidc.org.inThe last date for receipt of online application is 18.12.2017. Once online application is filed by you, we request you to kindly send scan copy of the Receipt/ Proof to CLE in the email IDs;  cle@cleindia.comcledelhi@cleindia.com for our information.
