Sub: Establishment of Mega Leather, Footwear & Accessories Cluster @ Maharashtra – MIDC seeks Expression of Interest from the industry entrepreneurs for setting up manufacturing units – Industry Outreach Event (Virtual Meeting) on 14.12.2023 at 3.00pm – reg.
We wish to inform that State Government of Maharashtra via Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) proposes to establish a Mega Leather, Footwear & Accessories Cluster at Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA), Raigad District, Maharashtra. This greenfield new cluster will be established in a total land area of 151 acres strategically located in Ratwad Village, and this project would be set up under the Indian Footwear and Leather Development Programme (IFLDP) 2021-26. The proposed Mega Cluster is already approved ‘in-principle’ and it shall have units dedicated to manufacturing of Leather Products & Accessories, Leather Garments, Leather Footwear, Non-Leather Footwear, Footwear Components etc.

In this regard, MIDC has issued an Expression of Interest Form seeking interest from industry entrepreneurs for setting up their manufacturing units in the proposed new Mega Cluster. The EOI issued by the MIDC and the Form for submitting the EOI is attached herewith for your perusal.
We request the industry entrepreneurs who wish to set up the manufacturing unit in the above mentioned new greenfield cluster at Maharashtra may submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) by filling up the attached prescribed format. The filled up EOI form along with relevant attachments, may kindly be sent on or before 18th December 2023 (Friday), to MIDC by Email: gmmarketing@midcindia.org, ceo@midcindia.org , jtceov@midcindia.org under CC to cle@cleindia.com dd-p.t@cleindia.com
Industry Outreach Event on 14.12.2023 Virtual Meeting
This is to inform that MIDC is organizing an ‘Industry Outreach Event’ via virtual mode, for discussions on the MLFAC, Maharashtra on 14th December 2023 (Thursday) at 3.00pm. The officials of MIDC, National Productivity Council (NPC) & CLE would be attending this meeting and would interact with the industry stakeholders, and MIDC would answer to the queries of the leather and footwear industry.
