Dear Member,

Sub: Renewal of Membership for the year 2021-22   –  Online only

We would like to thank you for being Member of the Council for Leather Exports and allowing us to serve you.

As you are kindly aware your Membership with the Council is valid up to 31st March 2021 and accordingly renewal of membership for the financial year 2021-22 falls due on 1st April 2021 as per Article 6(b) (i) of the Articles of Association of the Council.

Therefore, Members are requested to kindly renew         your Membership for the year 2021-22 by submitting the Membership Renewal Application Form through online.

Procedure for Filing the Online Membership Renewal Application :

Ø  To log on to  the  Council’s website  www.leatherindia.org
Ø  Click the link “ MEMBERSHIP ” and choose “Renewal of Membership” of the sub-links
Ø  Fill up the Renewal Application Form provided therein
Ø  Upload the Bank Certificate (Format provided in the website) duly certified by your Banker for the export value during 2020-21. In case of no export during 2020-21, please mention as “NIL” export for which No Bank Certificate is required.
Ø  Finally submit the Application form

The application form submitted online will be scrutinized by CLE and if all the details are found to be in order, a link for online payment of membership fee will be sent to your e-mail ID given in your application form. It may kindly be noted that without submission of renewal form and bank certificate, you will not be able to reach payment gateway.

On receipt of the applicable Annual Membership Renewal Fee, the Council will send RCMC duly renewed for 2021-22 to the registered e-mail address of the Member within 03 working days.

Further, as per the DGFT’s advice, the individual RCMC issued by the Council will be uploaded in the DGFT’s Server for grant of benefits under Exim Policy.

As your   current   Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC)   is   valid   till 31.03.2021 as per DGFT Trade Notice No. 60 dated 31st March 2020, and after 31.03.21, your RCMC will be valid only if CLE membership is renewed, please renew your membership at the earliest so that you may continue availing the         benefits / concessions/ schemes of Govt. of India, as applicable from time to time.

Member may please note that Manual submission of Membership Renewal Application Form and Membership fee through Cheque / Demand Draft / NEFT and RTGS shall not be accepted by the Council and if paid shall be returned.
